Passion Podcast

Today, I was listening to the Passion Podcast from San Paulo, Brazil. This is from the end of May but it really moved me! Tears started to roll down my checks at multiple points during the 45 minute podcast. First of all, the language barrier is non existent! The Brazilian students and the Passion team were one in the same as they are all heirs of the King. And that was apparent many times! This just reminded me that no matter where we live, what language we speak, who are family is, how much money we make- We are ALL Brothers and Sisters in Christ!! WE'RE A PART OF THE SAME FAMILY! WE'RE CHILDREN OF THE KING! AND WE'RE ONE BODY! WITH THE GOAL OF FURTHERING HIS KINGDOM! At one point Louie Giglio starts to ask the question "if Brazil has a generation.... but after that the crowd explodes into cheering and screaming, and then they turn to chanting "JESUS, JESUS, JESUS, JESUS" and kept going on for about 30 seconds- this sound overwhelmed me. Reinforcing all the things i said above. Lastly, Louie talks a little about the Chapman Family tragedy- as that morning was maria's memorial service and none of the Passion team was able to be there for such dear friends in their time of need. But he described the hurt they all felt on behalf of their friends... Carrying each others burdens!! that's what the body does!!

1 Corinthians 12:12-31 talks about the body of Christ
verse 13 "For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. 27Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it"

We're one body!! We Work Together to bring Glory to His Kingdom!
