Right now I'm reading 12 Extraordinary Women by John Macarthur. this is super scattered bc i have to go to class but here are some thoughts...
I've gotten through Eve and Sarah.
"I'm convinced that if people today would simply embrace God's purpose and seek to fulfill the roles God has designed for our respective genders, both men and women would be happier, the church would be healthier, and marriages would be stronger"
the genders have "divinely-designed roles"
Characteristics of these two women-dignity, honor, humility, meekness, faithfulness, deep affection for husband, sincere love towards God, hope that remains
their weaknesses are mentioned and explored..how cool!!
The third chapter I'm in now is one Rahab.. more to come soon
PS I go to STL in less than 24 hours!!!! and im PUMPED!!
