Little Tid Bits

So today I was told I needed to blog-you know who you are... so I have just a bunch of random things...

• I am LOVING the Weather, I was soo worried that winter was on it's way, and in Kirksville winter is not fun, but fall has returned and that makes me happy.
• I have had a bit of an identity crisis the past two weeks. For ASG all the new pledges have to meet with the actives and one of the required questions is "where are you from". I laugh every time- because I am from stl, but my parents are home- in WI, so lets just say I'm ready to be done with that ducky date question. Yet I'm excited to meet all the new pledges- Welcome to ASG ladies!
• continuing on that note, I talked to my grandparents the other day which i just love and my mammaw and I have this thing about out-talking my pappaw-which for those of you that know him, can be a challenge. But it is just so great to talk to them! They offer so much wisdom and support and love. I am to that point now in my life that i just like to call and see how they are, catch up on their life, and enjoy a conversation with people that love me so much. Since being in college my relationship with them has really changed, i no longer feel like a little grandchild being all cutesy, but like I'm talking to my Friends. Its just cool!! but anyway, how this ties in, is I mentioned the difficulty in answering the question above and mammaw answered that its ok to think as STL as my home, it will be until i get married and settle and start a family elsewhere. Yay for wisdom. I get to see them over Christmas and I'm pumped!!!
• I have gotten back into a good workout routine again! I am doing at least 2 miles (either running or on an elliptical) 3 days a week, along with some core and upper body toning! Its exciting! The knee has been a little bothersome but i believe its just going to have to get used to this intensity. Grace has been going with me and that's even better because that means we hold each other accountable!
• I hate chemistry class.... its Monday/Wednesday from 6:30-8:00... the professor bothers me- he reads us the book... i have to miss ccf small groups and worship... and i just don't like chemistry
• My new saying-thanks to Mel's bumper sticker.... be the kind of woman that when you get up in the morning the devil says Crap shes up
